I saw this Cub Cadet Zero Turn yesterday with a unique set of tires. These tires should be optional equipment on all current mowers.
No Flats, no bald tires. No divots with these tires. A lot more flotation in soft turf.
At first look they look like steel wheels but they are not steel wheels. If you look closely you can see that the steel tread is attached to a heavy belt. This belt gives you the same cushioning a normal air filled tire would.
Just think of the possibilities. No Flats, great traction. Change the bars for aerating your lawn. Change the bars to studs for winter snow plowing.
No these tires are not a “prove design” for MTD. MTD probably doesn’t even know about these no-flat tires.
I took a bunch of pictures and I’ll post all of them in case you would like to make a set of your own. (or market them) Click on them for a larger view. Right click to save them to your computer. These are high quality pictures so you may not be able to open them with a slow computer connection.

Do you have a source yet?
@Ray,
I’ve been really busy over on movingsnow.com and toolboxhero.com. And I got some maple logs that I have been cutting up into slabs that is taking way more time than I anticipated. I have not had a chance to go back over to the Mennonites to see what we can do to make these for you. Give me a couple more weeks.
