I’m not going to say a whole lot about this riding mower. It mows ok, mulches ok and bags well. It has all the standard features you would expect in a $1000 mower. No frills, it just mows.

Pros:
On sale for around $1000. Plenty of power to mow your lawn. Built well for the price range. This tractor has been around in various forms for quite a while and it always gets great reviews.
Cons:
Lightweight, will handle mowing well, but little else. Do not buy this tractor if you regularly pull loads of dirt, etc.

There are very few negatives with this mower as long as you understand that it is a good quality 42 inch mower designed to mow lawns well. Take care of it (do the normal maintenance all lawn mowers need) and it will last you a long time. I like this lawn mower for what it is designed for.

Where can I buy the Ariens 19.5 hp 42″ riding mower model A175BG42. Home Depot does not seem to have this model in stock.
@James, It looks like HD has replaced it with the Poulan Model 960460022. I would suggest you look at the Craftsman 28884 also as an alternative to the Ariens.
