Just a quick note. I reviewed the New EGO Carbon Fiber Shaft and the Toro 14 inch PowerPlex cordless string trimmers over on the YouTube channel this week. Both are comprehensive reviews.

Thank you for making such nice well informed videos !
I just sold my 35 year old ST1032 Ariens and want to buy another machine . I have two acres of property a plow and I build snow tube runs for my grandchildren . I want a powerful machine but something that is a little easier to handle than my old machine .
What would you suggest !
Paul

Hello Paul thank you for the reply. My friend just called me and asked if I had seen your video on the Husqvarna ST430T so I am torn by the Ariens Pro 28 the Honda and now I just saw your video on the Husqvarna no hurry your thoughts ?
Thank you in advance of your reply.
The review you did on the ST430 WAS GREAT.
All three products will work well for me but I am Ariens loyal but the Husqvarna seems a level up ?
Paul
Hi Brian, Well, I just added another video where I compare the Ariens, Husqvarna and Toro 928. By the way, if I stuck the Honda HSS928ATD in this video it would throw as far as the Husqvarna but come in dead last for speed. It throws far but doesn’t have the capacity of the Toro or Ariens.
Ariens Pro 28 RapidTrak or Toro 928 OAE or Husqvarna ST430T – You Decide!

Pretty good review. With a tall trimmer like that, I agree that easy fold for storage would be a VERY good feature they could quite easily modify the current design to include. Actually my Ryobi One + trimmer is about that length. Part of why I like mine is the VAST array of One + tools including the 22″ hedge trimmer which I LOVE the “Hedge Sweep” feature of.

Hi William, yes, if you already have a Ryobi, DeWalt, or Milwaukee 18-20 volts system for your tools the best trimmer for weekly trimming is the one that matches your batteries.
I also like the hedge sweep. I especially like the rotating handle on the trimmer. It makes trimming the side of hedges a lot easier.
