Survey: Lawn equipment retailers see low-cost models as big sales driver

Lawn and garden businesses plan to order more low-cost models of equipment next year after seeing strong sales last summer, according to a survey from GE Capital, Commercial Distribution Finance. The survey found 54% of participants believe low-cost models will have the biggest impact on sales in the coming year. “Dealers have told us they feel good about the recent selling season and, based on current conditions, they’re planning to order more new equipment for next year,” said Michael Horak, commercial leader at the outdoor products group of (11/20)
